Day 1

Arrive at Mumbai International Airport

Arrive MumbaiInternational airport. Our representative shall meet you upon arrival for further transfer to hotel.

Day 2

Mumbai

After breakfast at your hotel, visit Gateway of India, an arch monumental buildings on famous port of Apollo Bunder completed in 1924 AD has been witnessing the welcome ceremonies of new Viceroys of India and Governors of Mumbai during the British time. Take a ferry to Elephanta Island to visit Elephanta Caves which are the finest example of rock-cut cave temples in ancient India. Sculptures carved out of the rock-caves are dedicated to Hindu God Shiva were constructed between 450 and 750 AD are UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon your return and after lunch, visit CST or Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus, a monumental train station in Mumbai is a busiest railway station in the world. Building has an amalgamation of Hindu, Islamic and Victorian style architecture was completed in 1887 AD is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Crawford Market completed in 1871 AD designed in Colonial architecture is an iconic building in South Mumbai is one of the most popular markets in locals in Mumbai. One can buy anything to everything here in this market. End your day and enjoy an unforgettable sunset with a drink on roof-top sky bar & restaurant The Dome at Inter-continental hotel overlooking the sea and twinkling lights of the city below. Day 3

Flight from Mumbai to Diu and drive to Sasan Gir (1.5 hours flight + 02 hours drive)

After breakfast, in-time transfer to Mumbai airport for flight to Diu. Drive for about two hours from Diu airport to your hotel/resort in Sasan Gir. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4

4 & 5: Gir National Park

Gir National Park or Sasan Gir National Park is situated in state of Gujrat in India and is known for Asiatic Lions. After Africa, Gir National Park is the only place in world where Asiatic Lions can be spotted in roaming free in their own kingdom of the forest. Park has 523 lions and around 300 leopards. National park also gives an opportunity to see other wild animals and elusive birds including leopard, Asiatic wild ass, hyenas, Gir foxes, pygmy woodpecker, brown fish owl and black buck etc. Gir National Park is also home to Chowsingha – the world’s only four horned antelope. National park has a big water reservoir- Kamleshwar where Marsh Crocodiles can be spotted in large numbers.

Jeep safaris in morning and afternoon will give you an opportunity to see lions and leopards along with other wildlife.

Day 6

Drive from Sasan Gir to Ahemdabad (350 Kms /8 hours )

After breakfast, drive to Ahmedabad, the capital of Indian state of Gujrat. Arrive Ahmedabad and check-in at your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7

Drive from Ahmedabad to Jawai Bandh (320 Kms/8 Hours including en-route visits)

After breakfast, drive to nearby small town of Patan and Modhera. Rani-Ki Vav at Patan is a step-well and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The step-wells in India were constructed as water reservoir and often are found with lot of architectural details. Rani-Ki-Vav was constructed in 11th century has seven levels and around 500 sculptures carved on the walls. Sun Temple at Modhera is one among couple of Sun temples in India including Konark Sun temple. The temple is dedicated to Hindu God Surya (Sun) and is an exemplary specimen of Gujrat architecture. The walls of the temples are highly decorated with carvings of seated God Surya and surrounded by dancers and armours couples. Arrive Jawai Bandh in Pali and Check-in and overnight at hotel.

Day 8

Jawai Bandh (Pali)

An early morning jeep safari will give you another opportunity to see Royal Bengal Tigers and other animals in Bandhavgarh National Park. Later after lunch drive to Jabalpur Airport to connect a flight to Kolkata, the capital of Eastern Indian state of West Bengal. Upon arrival at Kolkata, transfer to hotel for overnight.

Day 9

Drive from Pali to Jaipur (385 Kms/ 6.5 Hours)

After breakfast, Drive to Jaipur and Check-in at hotel in Jaipur. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10

Jaipur

After breakfast at your hotel, drive to Amer Fort on top of a hill at outskirts of Jaipur. This 16th century majestic fort was the capital of Rajputs till 1727 AD when the capital was shifted to Jaipur. Amer Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has many palaces with beautiful paintings, squares and terraces with balconies. Best way to reach to Amer Fort is on the back of an elephant. Visit City Palace built in 1727 AD by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh as residence for the royal family members. The palace complex today has several buildings, courtyards and museum. Exquisite carpets, bright Rajput weapons and delicate clothes, ornamented palanquins will remind you of the grandeur of this princely era of India. Adjoining to City Palace is Observatory or Jantar Mantar which is the largest stone astronomical observatory in the world and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During your visits in Jaipur city, you shall also be passing through Palace of Winds or Hawa Mahal constructed in 1799 with 953 small windows,called Jharokas, decorated by intricate lattice work (jali or screen). Walk through the colourful buzzing markets of Jaipur before attending a private Cooking class in an old heveli where the ladies of the house will help you learn the recipes of Indian food. You will also enjoy the dinner cooked by you. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11

Drive from Jaipur to Ranthambore National Park

After breakfast at hotel, visit Galta jialso known as Monkey temple built in 15th century. Later drive from Jaipur to Ranthambore en-route visiting Chand Baori in Abhaneri to visit centuries old step well Chand Baori. Arrive Ranthambore and check-in at your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12

Ranthambore National Park

Wake-up early and visit to Ranthambore National Park in your private Jeep with a naturalist to sight the big cat – Royal Bengal Tiger. You will also see many other wildlife living in their natural space.

Another Jeep safari in evening will give you another opportunity to see different animals in forest.

Day 13

Drive from Ranthambore National Park to Agra

After breakfast, drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site is the deserted red sandstone capital city built by Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century. There are many architectural specimens in palace complex of Fatehpur Sikri. Arrive Agra and check-in at your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14

Agra

Wake-up early to visit the most beautiful and architectural marvel in white marble – Taj Mahalat sunrisewhich is quite simply one of mankind’s most remarkable creations. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is often referred as Romance in White Marble. Return to hotel by Tonga (horse cart). Post breakfast, visit another UNESCO World Heritage Site, Agra Fort built in 1565 AD and houses many fairy-tale palaces and royal pavilions. Visit a rural village near Agra and learn how life is dependent on agriculture and cattle. Experience the roti (Indian bread) making in the kitchen of a village house along with milking of buffalo by hand. The girls of the village will be happy to make a Rangoli (you can also learn it) to welcome you. Later in evening, watch Taj Mahal at sunset from Mehtab Bagh from opposite side of Taj Mahal. Mehtab Bagh was also one of the last eleven Mughal gardens. Overnight at hotel.

Day 15

Drive from Agra to Delhi ( 225 Kms / 5 Hours)

After breakfast, Drive to Delhi en-route visiting Swaminarayan Akshardham temple, unique example of 10,000 years of Indian culture in all its breath taking grandeur, beauty,wisdom and bliss. Arrive Delhi and check-in and overnight at your hotel.

Day 16

Delhi

After breakfast in the hotel, proceed for a full day tour of Old & New Delhi visiting the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site Humayun’s Tomb of the Mughal era & predecessor of the world famous Taj Mahal, the Jama Masjid, the greatest mosque in India completed in1658 by Shah Jahan the builder of Taj Mahal, Rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk and the Raj Ghat, the simple memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, the father of nation. Later after lunch in your hotel or at a local restaurant, drive past the stately government buildings of the British Era designed by Edwin Lutyens including the India Gate& the Presidential Palace. Also visit 72.5 meters tall towering minaret of Qutab Minar, UNESCO World Heritage Site and tallest minaret in Asia. Overnight at hotel.

Day 17

Flight to home

In-time, transfer to New Delhi International Airport for your onward flight to home. Enjoy our hospitality at a VIP lounge at airport where you can have shower, beverages and food before a long flight to home.
